Not often that I quote myself in an entry header, but I've been muttering that all week, due to incandescent light bulbs being banned as of January 1st. Had a slightly rough New Year's Eve, and I sort of brought some of it on myself. But, the minutes leading up to and away from midnight were magical as always.

2011 was a rollercoaster of a year, and I have some funny feelings about 2012. But, whatever it brings, it won't be dull, that's for sure.

1. Post in this journal more than once a week, unlike the way I've been doing. Even if it's just something to let people know that I am breathing. And a rather spotty one at that: it was a bit stop and go. I suspect people think the store isn't open on New Year's Day, when really it's only banks, the post office and "packies", ie. liquour stores, that aren't open New Year's.
